TCS Trans is a pioneer in intermodal logistics in Spain, with a focus on dry and liquid bulk for the food and chemical industries.

TCS Trans, an established name in Spain, was founded in 1958 by the Castellet San Miguel family and was one of the first Spanish companies to use intermodal transport. Today, TCS leads the intermodal transport market in Spain.

Intermodal bulk logistics

The core activity involves the transport of dry bulk, such as PVC powder and granulate, for the petrochemical industry. The company is also active in liquid bulk. From its office in Barcelona, TCS mainly serves the Spanish and Italian markets.

Acquisition by Van den Bosch

Logistics service provider Van den Bosch has acquired TCS Trans in October 2021. The activities have been continued from the office in Barcelona.

With the acquisition, Van den Bosch also owns fifty percent of Multirail, a leading private rail operator in Spain.
